Stuff I've Made...

For Christmas, my parents got me a new sewing machine that also embroiders. Here are some of the fun things I have made so far...

Burp cloth for my cousin's friend

More burp cloths

A diaper and wipe clutch that folds out to a changing pad.

An emergency kit for moms. It rolls up and ties with a ribbon so she can throw it in her purse. It has wet wipes, tissues, advil, chapstick, q-tips, hand sanitizer, a Tide to go pen, and pens.

Ruffle butt onesie!

Front of the onesie.

I can't wait to make more stuff! :)

Repurposed Frame

In college I purchased two 12 x 12 frames with bible verses in them. One was about Faith, and one was about Love. The verse part was a tan color with a red border around it. I loved them when I purchased them, and they spent many years in my various apartments. I still loved them, but I was ready for a change!

I looked for a better picture, but apparently I don't have one! If you look at the very top of the above picture, the old frame is the smaller looking black and red frame to the right of the larger leaf. Sorry if that was confusing...

I took out the bible verse picture, and found a piece of scrapbook paper I liked. I cut it to size and put it in the frame. I cut out a P in one of my favorite fonts on my Cricut using vinyl. I put the vinyl P on the outside of the glass so I can change the paper out for a different look if I get tired of it! I also sanded down the edges to make it look distressed.

Here is the finished product...

I love it! Exactly what I needed to change things up! It is going up in the front entrance of my house!
