I'm 23 weeks (and 2 days)!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 23 Weeks
Size of baby: Lawson is the size of a papaya (Baby Center says mango)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 5-6 pounds
Maternity Clothes: All maternity pants, shirts are a mixture, I LIVE in dresses!
Gender: It's a BOY! Lawson Ryan Payne :)
Movement: Lawson kicks and punches me ALL the time! Ha! On Friday, I went to the hospital to meet baby Beaux. When I was holding him, Lawson kicked him! He is already a jealous little man! He also kicks anything that is on my stomach...a book, computer, if Chris and I are trying to cuddle and my stomach is touching him...he doesn't like anything touching him, ha!
Sleep: It's hit or miss. If I can get all my pillows situated the right way and I stay on my side, I sleep ok until 2 or 3 whenever I have to go to the bathroom. If the pillows move and I roll onto my back, I do not sleep well AT ALL!
What I miss: Being able to bend over, ha! Also, a glass of wine.
Cravings: Carbs and Dr. Pepper!

Cravings: Carbs and Dr. Pepper!
Symptoms: Back pain/being unable to lay on my back, growing belly, fatigue (although I blame that more on the end of the school year than pregnancy), and ALWAYS hungry!
Best Moment this week: Meeting baby Beaux...kind of made it seem more real that I will actually have an outside baby in a few months!
Funny story from this week:
Dakota went with me to meet Beaux. When we left, I asked her if she liked seeing the baby. She said yes. Below is the conversation that transpired after that...
Me: Dakota, are you going to have a baby brother like little Beaux?
D: Oh please tell me I'm not!!
Me: Well, honey, you are going to have a baby brother.
D: Oh, oopsie!
Ha, she is so silly and we are constantly cracking up at the things she says about Lawson. Sometimes she wants to hear his "heartbeep" or give away her toys to make room for him, but other times she acts like she doesn't want him to come, ha!
Lawson's room has all kinds of his baby things (swing, play mat, crib) just sitting in his room until we work on it this Summer, and Dakota LOVES taking her baby dolls in there and playing with all of them in Lawson's baby things. There is constantly a baby doll in Lawson's little swing. It's going to be hard to keep her out of there once he gets here! Maybe she will be a good little pseudo mommy to Lawson!
I'll add a belly picture once I get dressed. :)
