28 weeks!

I'm 28 weeks (and 1 day)! 10-12 weeks left!!

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 28 Weeks
Size of baby: Lawson is the size of an eggplant (Baby Center says cabbage)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 10 pounds
Maternity Clothes: All maternity pants, shirts are a mixture, I LIVE in yoga pants now that I'm home! :)
Gender: It's a BOY! Lawson Ryan Payne
Movement: All the time! He has started pushing really hard on my stomach by my belly button. I think he wants OUT! Sometimes it hurts!
Sleep: I slept ok this week. Once I fell asleep (sometimes difficult to do), I usually only had to wake up once, after 6 for the bathroom
What I miss: Being able to bend over, ha! Being tan and being skinny too!
Cravings: Dairy! Yogurt, frozen yogurt, milk, ice cream...
*Symptoms: Back pain/being unable to lay on my back, growing belly, fatigue, contractions, sciatica is back (boo.). Still no heartburn...but it is getting harder to sit straight up and breathe. I think it's because he is running out of room and he is close to my ribs, so it's just awkward and uncomfortable.
Best Moment this week: Chris put up the chair rail in Lawson's room, so we are done with everything big in there! The only thing I still have to do is finish his cross. Also, we visited my grandparents in Kosse, and my grandma is making a quilt for Lawson. I got to help quilt some of it. I did a TERRIBLE job, but at least Lawson will always know his mommy did that corner, ha!

*I just want to put it out there that I am in NO way complaining (or trying not to anyway) about my symptoms. I just want to remember everything about this pregnancy, so this is an easy way to do that and also keep our families and friends updated. I am so incredibly grateful for a healthy pregnancy every day, and whatever symptoms or "ailments" it comes with. :)

28 week belly picture...Dakota will probably be in the pictures for the next few weeks. She is staying with us for the summer and girlfriend doesn't pass up a chance to pose, ha!

She is so funny! Sometimes she randomly walks up to us and says "look at my belly" and sticks it out! Ha! She keeps us laughing and we are thankful to spend this precious time with her this summer during our last weeks as a family of three! As ready as I am for him to get here, I know I will miss this time with Dakota when Lawson arrives.
