One Month Old!!

Lawson, you are ONE month old today! Sometimes I can't believe it's been a whole month, but other times it seems like you've been here forever! You have changed so much, here is what you are up to:

  • You weigh 7 lbs, 10 oz. TWO pounds more than when we left the hospital! At your last appointment (two weeks ago), you were 20.5 inches long and your head was 13.5 inches around.
  • You stopped wearing newborn diapers as of yesterday. They still fit you, but your little legs were getting so red from the leg holes. Size 1's are a little big for you, but fit much more comfortably on your legs. We are sticking with those for now!
  • You still wear newborn clothes. I don't know how you will ever fit into your 0-3 month clothes! They look so huge still!
  • You are a great eater! You love eating so much that whenever we stop to burp you, you get very upset! Ha! When you eat, your hands are ALWAYS touching your face!
  • You are a pretty good sleeper! You started sleeping in your crib in your own room this week, and you usually sleep 5-6 hours at night! Mom and Dad are very thankful for that! :) You take good naps during the day, sometimes in your crib and sometimes on your momma!
  • You LOVE your Daddy! You could stare at him for hours. You lift your head up so much when Daddy holds you just so you can see him. When you hear his voice, you start looking around for him.
  • Your little personality is so sweet and laid back. You only cry when you are hungry or your paci falls out. You are such a good baby!

Lawson, you are so loved by your mommy and daddy, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends. You are a mess, but we don't know what we would do without you and we can't wait to see what new things you will learn this month! :)
